OneFile is a unified file management tool designed for mobile devices. Its core capabilities allow users to manage Git repositories (clone, pull, push, commit) and WebDAV servers (browse, sync to local storage) directly on their phones. Through Android's system-level DocumentsProvider, these remote files are seamlessly exposed to any file manager app on the device.
A typical use case is pairing with Obsidian note-taking app: users can store their Obsidian vault on a Git repository or WebDAV server. Through OneFile's DocumentsProvider, they can open, edit, and save notes directly in Obsidian, with all changes synced back to the remote in real time. OneFile's built-in Git operations make note version management effortless — commit and push with a single tap after editing, enabling a complete workflow loop between mobile and desktop.
In addition, OneFile supports encrypted credential storage, Git LFS for large files, bilingual UI (Chinese/English), and update checking via GitHub Releases, bringing professional-grade remote file management to mobile.
